Joy Apparel is a really cool t-shirt company, and here’s why: they will sell you a tee with my face on it.

But seriously, I love the motivating force behind this concept.  You purchase a t-shirt with someone’s face on it, and with that, you receive a little card with their name, age, location, and what their passion is in life.  The idea is to demonstrate the interconnectedness between us, or, as the website will tell you: “It is about taking an active stance against racism and discrimination while being an advocate for peace and equality… because in someway or another, we are all connected!”

Empathy, man.  Empathy.
